AKA Secretaries Day. It was a great day for me. My two attorneys combined their loot and gave me a $200 gift certificate to Buy Buy Baby. This is going to come in sooooo handy!!! WOO HOO!!! When one attorney asked the other if they should get me flowers, she replies, “Nope, flowers die in a week!” HA! I love Lauren! She’s too funny and very very thoughtful.
Lauren also hooked me up with a crib!!! Another partner at work sent out an email to the entire company that she was giving away a Bellini baby crib plus a high chair. This was on a day that I was out with all of these issues. Lauren was the first to reply and actually scored it for me! We get to pick that up tomorrow.
My knitting is also coming along loverrrrly! I started the clapotis by Knitty a couple of days ago and I’m just about to start the straight section.
My head is all stuffy from allergies and I left my Zyrtec at home so I’m doomed to sit at my desk and sniffle all day long!
