Now for those of you that actually read my blog outside of Bloglines or Google Reader you will know that I’ve had Malabrigo Lace on my wishlist for some time now. As I mentioned in my last post, someone kindly convinced me to buy it on Tuesday at The Point when I went to meet her to deliver soap after work.

This yarn, people….this thing is UNDESCRIBABLY soft. I mean, it IS Malabrigo and what more do you expect from them but exquisite, squishy softness? I purchased two skeins of Pale Khaki and one of Paris Night. Each skein has a generous 470 yds for it’s 50g. 100% Baby Merino Wool. $12 each. GO GET SOME!! HURRY! You know you want it!

What plans do I have for it? Well, I’ve joined the Mystery Stole 3 KAL! This sounds like it’s going to be so much fun! Basically you knit along on a bunch of clues that are given out every week but you don’t know what the end result will be like until you finish. :D I can’t wait to get started. I’m swatching now!

    It would be in my best interest to spin the yarn for that Along, but noooooooooo I ordered yarn, and now I have 2 alongs to keep me occupied this summer prolly all the way to next summer. If the stole goes well, I’ll step my game up and get some Malabrigo Lace.
