Glory, Glory

posted in Finished in 2007, Shawls and Scarves |

I finished my Morning Glory Stole. This pattern was somewhat difficult as the wrong side rows were not a straight knit as most lace patterns are. This was a challenge for me and I am VERY proud of the result. It would take me a while to get into the chart but once I’d done a few rows in a sitting, I would keep on going without wanting to stop until I had AT LEAST finished a repeat.

On with the photos!

What a gorgeous stole! And how do we get you a modeling deal with IK? I love that last shot of you reading as you model! Why can’t those damn sticks in IK do something like that with their hands instead of always tugging at their hems or touching whatever it is they’re modeling? You blow them out of the water!

Wow! I love the way the yarn variegates! I’ve wondered what Briar Rose looks like when it’s knit up. And your mystery shawl is great — I’ll have to join in on the next round!
